INTERNATIONAL QUILTERS DAY 2025
Celebrating the Art and Craft of Quilting
International Quilters Day 2025 is a special occasion dedicated to the celebration of quilting; an art form that has been cherished for centuries. This day brings together quilters from all over the world to share their passion, creativity, and skills. Held annually on the third Saturday of March, this year’s event falls on Saturday, 15th March 2025.
The History of International Quilters Day
International Quilters Day was first established in 1991 by the American National Quilting Association (NQA). The idea was to create a day that honours the rich history and cultural significance of quilting. Over the years, the celebration has grown in popularity, with quilters from various countries participating.
SA Quilters invites you to join us on 15 March to celebrate International Quilters Day. Everybody Welcome – tell your friends.
